Background and Cultivation:
Our organic China Green tea is grown on Huangliyang mountain outside of Hangzhou on a beautiful tea-farm owned by a seventh-generation organic tea farmer. The forests which cover the mountain and surround the farm provide a unique micro-climate that keeps the soil highly fertile. The tea is harvested in the spring while the leaves are still tender. Its processing involves withering, rolling and roasting, and drying. It is unfermented.
